At one time I realised that I was gaining weight abnormally and it had started to affect me physically and mentally. That is when I found Pinky. Her thoughtful nutritional guidance went hand in hand with my gym sessions. She helped me with meal plans which aligned well with my muscle strengthening workouts. I was over the moon when I saw that my weight reduced to 73 kg from 84 by maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She is the go to person for a realistic wellness diet besides regular exercise.

Everyone wants to stay healthy, but its so difficult to implement it with an erratic routine. Ever since I started Healthwize's customised diet and exercise plan, I have not just lost a few kilos, but I have also felt a lot better. Pinky's "eating without compromising" is not just about food, it is about overall well-being.

A self-resolution to make productive use of COVID lock-down period is what brought me to Healthwize. The experience was very unique, as the recommended diet was quite filling, but with right nutritional choices as well. The sessions made me aware about the role of a balanced diet, the regulation of food temptation, intelligent choices while eating/ordering food from restaurants etc. Now I know it is not very difficult to have a good and balanced diet. Equating dieting to starving is totally unacceptable and making smart choices with ample eating actually does the magic.

I was a normal girl with a normal routine. I used to do yoga in the morning and have proper food at the right time. I used to have a constant weight of 60 for some years. I used to watch my weight regularly. But I always wondered why yoga didn't have any effect, as my weight was not dropping a bit.

Once I moved to a different country, my routine changed. I skipped my morning yoga, after all it didn't have any effect. Or I thought so!!My lifestyle changed, food habits changed. Instead of my normal Indian breakfast, I started cherishing the mouth watering pastries readily available. It was easy to get and tasty too. I really enjoyed the evening tea with doughnuts. Little did I know that my weight graph was not flat anymore. It was rising. When I noticed, it was late and I hit 66. I tried hard to reduce it and joined in a diet course for a month; which was to eat only protein rich food and none of my favourite fruits. I could reduce 3 kg. But my taste buds were dead. I was deprived of the pleasure I get while eating rice; which hurt me emotionally. After the month because of some medical reasons, my weight was shooting up and I reached 70 in 4 months. I didn't have the strength or will to even think about losing weight.

Then one fine morning I heard about Pinky's Nutrition program. I wasn't reluctant to join and sent her a message. I am really happy that I did so because what followed was regular motivating and enlightening sessions with her, which taught me how to regulate my cravings by choosing to eat right. It reminded me of the importance of our Indian food, which I have conveniently forgotten. She made me  realise the importance of exercise and how to do it right with fun. There weren't any food restrictions. But instead she focussed on portion control which I never imagined to work. But after a few weeks I could see the wonders and I lost 4 kg in 3 months. It might not be a big difference for you guys. But to me, it is..!!  Little I knew that I had the power to control my hunger pangs which hit at 6 in the evening. Now I don't grab the snack box and munch on everything in it. Now I know what to eat and how much to eat; and more importantly when to eat. Now I know my little yoga routines were indeed effective. I would never again doubt it :)
2 weeks have passed, after our sessions are over. But still I follow the same guidelines, each and every day and be happy. Whatever lessons she has given me, stays with me and I would love to carry it out throughout my life.
So in nutshell... Never lose the fun of our homemade food and Eat right. Get up from your chair and move your body. Stay healthy and stay Safe.
Moreover now you know a person, to reach out; if needed.. :)
